The Israeli army says a drone launched from Yemen has been intercepted but air raid sirens were not activated.

Israeli media reported that “a suspicious object” was intercepted in Eilat.

Israeli forces arrest more Palestinians in West Bank

Israeli soldiers have arrested at least 19 Palestinians in early morning raids across the occupied West Bank, including at least eight people in several areas of Nablus.

The Wafa news agency is also reporting that seven Palestinians in Tulkarem and four Palestinians from Salfit were arrested after Israeli forces raided and searched their homes.

Israeli settlers attacked and wounded a 62-year-old man in Khirbet Umm Nir, adjacent to the village of Susiya in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Officials from 30 countries to meet in Colombia to halt Gaza war

Officials from more than 30 countries will meet in Colombia’s capital Bogota for a two-day event dedicated to define legal and diplomatic actions to end the war in Gaza and the illegal occupation of the West Bank.

The meeting is convened by The Hague Group and co-chaired by Colombia and South Africa “in response to the escalating violations of international law in Palestine, including the crime of genocide”, according to a statement from the Colombian government.

Francesca Albanese, UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, will preside over a news conference later today.

“Finally in Bogota, alongside states that commit to ending the massacre in Gaza, without rhetoric, bringing politics back within the limits of international law,” Albanese said on X.

Democrat ‘horrified by brutal murder’ of Palestinian American in West Bank

US Congressman Jerrold Nadler says the “brutal murder” of 20‑year‑old Palestinian American Sayfollah Musallet reflects “epidemic levels” of violence in the occupied West Bank.

“Reports that the settlers prevented ambulances from reaching the victims and IDF soldiers were also present but failed to intervene are deeply disturbing,” Nadler wrote in a social media post.

Nadler called on other members of Congress to support his West Bank Violence Prevention Act, “to prevent these kinds of acts of violence in the West Bank and to punish all those who commit such acts in the West Bank, regardless of their nationality”.

Israeli army issues forced evacuation threat for Gaza City and Jabalia

The Israeli army has issued the latest forced evacuation threat for civilians living in 16 areas in northern Gaza.

A spokesperson for the army said the threat was an “urgent warning to everyone still present in Gaza City and Jabalia” in the neighbourhoods listed, saying they should “evacuate immediately south towards al-Mawasi”.

The so-called “safe zones”, including al-Mawasi in Khan Younis, are routinely attacked by Israel despite the army forcing Palestinians to move to those areas.

Settlers attack CNN crew in occupied West Bank, reporter says

CNN’s Jerusalem correspondent Jeremy Diamond says Israeli settlers attacked him and his team as they were reporting on the killing of an American in the occupied West Bank this week.

Diamond was in the occupied territory to speak with the father of 20-year-old Saif Musallet, who was one of two men killed by Israeli settlers on Friday.

“As we were covering this story, my team & I were attacked by Israeli settlers. The back window of our vehicle was smashed, but we managed to escape unharmed,” he wrote on X. “This is just a sliver of the reality many Palestinians face in the West Bank amid rising settler violence.”

Deaths of Israeli soldiers come as pressure mounts on Netanyahu

The Israeli military says three soldiers were killed and one other was injured in fighting in northern Gaza on Monday. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that Israel is going to continue fighting this war until there is an absolute victory.

But comments like this have drawn pushback from family members of hostages and families of deceased soldiers who have said that blood is being shed for no reason, and that there needs to be a ceasefire deal in place.

This also comes at a time when Netanyahu’s coalition is now at risk because members of the far right have said that they would leave the government and topple the coalition if there is a ceasefire deal.

And on Monday, one of the ultra-Orthodox factions in Netanyahu’s government decided to submit their resignation over internal fighting about Israel’s conscription law. The country’s attorney general has told Netanyahu that his government is not enforcing the law to penalise draft evaders.

And so these ultra-Orthodox parties are saying that Netanyahu has 48 hours or they will topple his coalition.
