The incident happened at around 17:40 GMT on Friday at a shop on New Forge Road.

Police said a man entered the shop and seemed to browse for a few minutes before approaching the till with a knife.

He then demanded money from the staff members and managed to take a sum of cash from the till.

The man left the shop and made off in the direction of Dromore.Police have appealed for anyone with information to get in touch.
